The Sheraton internet is notoriously variable. The last few weeks it took a vacation. It appears to be back to its usual schedule: 30 minutes of functioning at a random time each day. So the lack of posts or any sort of communication from me is not because I have been kidnapped.
It has decided to rain here in Yemen, and once that was decided the heavens opened. Yesterday it hailed for over an hour. I'd like to say everything is now green and lush, but I'm afraid there is still some work to be done. I've been busy so there haven't been so many trips lately (except to the airport 10 times in the last two weeks), so here are more photos from election day. As you can see, there's nothing wrong with kids having guns and soldiers who are using drugs. It all sort of works itself out.
